"I don't follow orders/I am just tracking numbers" underscores the basis for Crafty 893's latest single "Nothing Left." The South London-based multi-talented rapper/producer/mix engineer brings a refreshing take on the issues bothering him with a devil-may-care attitude over this self-produced drill banger. Inspired by the iconic meme of EastEnders’ Ian Beale breaking down and sobbing, “I’ve got nothing left." Crafty 893 flips the context into him taking the opposition to the mat with his explosive flows and commanding presence, shaking off anyone who tries to distract him from his goals.
The accompanying visuals produced by videographer Dominic Taylor stray from the norm with the usage of gritty aesthetics, special effects and performance-driven set pieces. He has been on the rise since Crafty 893 dropped his debut Induction EP on Tru Thoughts. From producing Big Zuu’s debut album Navigate, performing with JME on his Grime MC FM tour, creating adverts for brands like Adidas x Jacamo and Pret a Manger, and producing for artists such as Fluffy on the reggaeton track "Besame."
