Last Grasp's newest single, “Creature of Your Kind,” is the captivating music you’ve been waiting for. This Florida-based project, started by Matthew DeFeis in 2021, continues to explore and innovate within darkwave, post-punk, and deathrock genres, delivering a unique sound that will resonate with goth music fans.

“Creature of Your Kind” explores the powerful feelings that come with deep attraction. The song features driving synths, strong guitars, and a lively beat that beautifully convey the emotions of longing and desire. With Jaysik Smith’s deep bass lines and Lo Ormachea’s atmospheric synth sounds, Last Grasp creates an immersive musical experience.

DeFeis produced the song alongside his childhood friend Boris Stojanović, who worked remotely from Serbia. Their collaboration showcases a strong creative bond that enhances the song’s energetic and raw feel. DeFeis notes that the track came together naturally, with its catchy chorus quickly becoming a favorite.
