In a stunning collaboration between film and music, the legendary media organization, Glasshaus is presenting a recorded performance of renowned Neo Soul pioneer, Bilal, presented in full concert and accompanied by added visuals and interviews, all under the direction of Glasshaus founder Jarrett Wetherell.
Bilal is one of the most respected names in music, period. His accolades in shaping the genre of Neo Soul and defining eras of alternative R&B and jazz can be studied in hefty length, and some of his biggest supporters/ collaborators make an appearance to speak on his career. The film features treasured musical confidants in the likes of Questlove, Common, Robert Glasper, and Burniss Travis.
Glasshaus is continuing their trend of supporting the arts in other mediums through cinematic short films featuring concerts they've hosted, previously hosting Baby Rose, Julius Rodriguez, and Kimbra.
