Rapper/producer Henny Knightz, who also highlights as one half of The Knighthood Society alongside his sister Nicki Knightz, has been making waves in the London hip-hop underground scene as outliers pushing the musical envelope. Pulling double duties, working on his sister's album and his solo project amongst other musical duties, Henny Knightz comes through with a new cut "The Groove." The alternative rap tune captures his life as an artist from a humanizing lens as he balances the double life on the road to putting up with a physically abusive girlfriend. The self-produced track has a jazzy and surreal vibe that complements Henny Knightz' vivid storytelling and use of expressive rhyme schemes. He takes us through the turbulent life awaiting him at home and the make-believe life as an artist on the road and leaves us with so many questions at the end.
"The Groove" is taken from Henny Knightz' latest album Evil Thoughts Of Great Things. At present Henny has been working on his fourth album and various off-shoot projects which is set to be released later this year.
