BABET unveils new single “greenblueviolet.” and announces forthcoming EP

Dutch singer/ songwriter BABET is working on her new EP Bury Me, but in the interim, she unveils the focus track "greenblueviolet." The future pop ballad sees BABET penning an open letter to her younger self, reflecting on what truly makes her special despite the flaws. Backed by a punchy drum groove, dark scenic textures, and a somewhat suspenseful aesthetic, BABET delivers a heartwarming performance ripe with sultry melodic runs and profound lyrics that explore human resilience, self-growth and love for oneself. BABET, whose real name is Babette van Vugt, first broke into the music scene with a national hit: ‘’1 Op Een Miljoen’’ with Belgian producer Metejoor. Aside from making music, BABET owns a jewellery brand, GOMPHI (also the name of her record company), and has modelled for various agencies. For her latest offering, BABET drops off a potent, nocturnal track ahead of her forthcoming Bury Me EP.
