Nameless Friends share deluxe version of explosive album 'Blasphemy'

Canadian rockers Nameless Friends take a deeper dive of their politically-charged 2023 album Blasphemy, pushing the boundaries of the explosive collection and immersing us in their  high-octane, queer-inclusive universe.

The deluxe version of the album comes to life as a love letter to the band's devoted fanbase, stretching the raw energy of the original version with expansive live versions of tracks like “Need,” “Demons,” “Classic Protagonist,” and “Breakfast In A Record Store.”

The latter track stands tall as a love song for imperfect souls, elevated by cinematic visuals that captures the chaos, camaraderie, and sheer joy of life on tour. Shot through an eclectic mix of phone cameras, Go-Pros, the video encapsulates the authenticity at the core of Nameless Friends artistry.

The deluxe edition also offers up a brand new version of “MEZZANINE,” a campy theatrical opera-inspired track diving into the twisted nature of performance. The album also consists of remixed versions of “7 Years of Blood,” and “Sympathy for Lilith,” as well as an orchestral rendition of “Forth,” offering refreshing, nuanced perspectives on familiar sounds.

Having established themselves as a powerful force in the rock scene, the enigmatic act continue to reflect their commitments to collective identity and egalitarian ethos via their experimental sonic tones.
