Samantha Gongol is a well known singer-songwriter who is one half of platinum selling electronic duo Marian Hill. Now the creator has struck out on her own with her debut single "Flash in the Pan". The new music marks a rebirth and sonic departure for the artist leaning more into organic instrumentations and an indie pop sound.

With "Flash in the Pan", Samantha Gongol pens a song all about the passage of time and how uncertain showbiz can be specifically. The personal and self reflective track is fearless, fun, evocative, and playful while she wrestles with the question of whether or not it is time to say goodbye. She sings,"She was a flash / Flash in the pan / She was it / How did she let it slip through her hands." Sonically, "Flash in the Pan" is a cathartic slice of left of center pop filled with dreamy synths, free-spirited guitars and sun-drenched melodies. The song features gorgeous musical swells and an anthemic sing-a-long worthy chorus for a must listen. The accompanying music video directed by Matty Vogel (Billie Eilish, Chappel Roan), features the artist in a theater dancing and performing.

With "Flash in the Pan", Samantha Gongol not only redefines her sound but also solidifies her place as one of the most compelling songwriters of her generation. The Philadelphia born and bred and now Los Angeles based artist has more music to come and we can't wait to hear what is next.
