Kyto Vulpex returns with sun-tinged single

Indie electronic artist Kyto Vulpex returned with a new single, “Sunwalk,” last Friday, following a year-long hiatus.

After debuting in 2021 with “Guardian Angel,” Kyto Vulpex was consistent with new releases, even releasing a debut album, Transients and Waves, in late 2022. But it has been radio silent ever since his last release, “The River,” in February 2023.

Luckily, “Sunwalk” shows he has not gotten the least bit rusty. The four-minute instrumental track is carried by an upbeat synth riff reminiscent of summertime, along with a simple percussion that makes the song easy to dance to. Listeners will get Owl City vibes from the additional production flourishes that evoke the sound of twinkling lights.

Hopefully, Kyto Vulpex is back for good, as “Sunwalk” is a versatile song that could soundtrack a bright summer stroll or a neon-lit night drive, enticing the listener to want more.
