To rhyme like this, you have had to practice the craft and it definitely shows in her penmanship.
"Practice" by Jackie Hill Perry is a good reminder that there's a major difference between certain lyricists. The song starts off strong with high-energy production and high-energy delivery. All the while giving us lyricism at its peak. A creative flow with some interesting lines that will absolutely make you scrunch your face up in agreement with what she's presenting. Listening to the first portion of the track you can envision flashing lights and a crowd of people going nuts over the flow at a live performance. It carries that sound of visual based off the heavy-hitting energy. There are memorable lines while she gives Jesus the glory and shows that lyricism doesn't have to come with a compromise.
The multi-section and beat switch was a perfect fit for the content that she rhymes. Both sections are interesting and grab you and lead you to really listen to what is being said. Focus, and catch the lines. Line after line she cuts through the production with premier rhyming. The second production really comes in perfectly and as soon as you hear it you can't help but feel the production and be engulfed in the vibe. Knod your head because SHE GOES COMPLETELY OFF (she always does).
Some beat switches are done a little iffy where the emcee might lose a little momentum lyrically or even artistically. This was beautifully executed from one segment to the other; she carried over well and didn't lose her intention to draw you into what she's presenting. The vocal sample on the second segment of production fit perfectly and she embodied and complimented the track perfectly. The rhyme schemes were crisp and really displayed that she’s a fierce rhymer.
