Athens-based artist THE Astrolabe has released “Lovers,” an upbeat pop track that captures the joy of emotional connection. With its lively rhythm and rich, layered sound, the song offers an uplifting escape from the negativity of the modern world.
Set in the year 2125, “Lovers” explores themes of love and rescue, inviting listeners to envision a brighter future. Thanos Yamas, the creative force behind THE Astrolabe, blends global influences with multimedia inspiration, crafting a unique sonic landscape filled with dreams and stories. “I write songs about my experiences and the lives I observe in others,” he explains.
Since launching his project in December 2020, Thanos has attracted considerable attention, with his music fostering a sense of community, as he emphasises, “My music is our music.” The new single is a vibrant soundtrack for the whole day, or just a moment of escape, as THE Astrolabe embraces love and positivity in a challenging and ever-changing world.
