SOME RECORDS HAVE SO MUCH SOUL THEY TAKE US TO ANOTHER PLACE.

Domani blesses us with a soulful single where he displays excellent lyricism, presence, and a seamless delivery. The record carries the tone of redemption and the personal growth one speaks in life, tailoring lyrics geared to steer us in a path of understanding, knowing that we are all trying to be the best versions of ourselves. It is personal to his decisions and the circumstances he faces, and it can speak to everyone. A truly transparent record of reflection of conflicting decisions and various emotions, truthful, honest, and clear. Brilliantly executed, the production is full of soul with the drums and snare being crips and the strings on the track giving the production depth. It Completely draws you in sonically as he paints a vivid picture of who he is becoming.

He flows well on the production, they complement each other well giving each other identity musically, so perfect it's almost as if one couldn't exist without the other. It's a perfect blend of superb lyricisms and melody (we could use more of this in hip-hop, this is a sound). The chorus comes in smoothly and the melody is catchy but full of substance so though you may be able to sing along with it you'll know you're declaring something powerful. The chorus carries the concept of the record with no clash, pure harmony. “Did you forget to think about me again, I’m full of sin, but I'm trying”, with such real lyrics I can't help but think how many people will gravitate to such a real and vulnerable record. This type of music will help people get past difficult places in life even when they might not be sure how to do it. Another's transparency will always allow us to seek what's real in life.

All in all, this is an excellent record on all levels, from the mix and master to the lyrics, to the production, the presence and delivery speak volumes to the level of artistry this is presenting. Top-tier art, with an even better purpose in helping people really see who they can be. Check out the EP The Lock in ATL.
