Hip hop artist, actor, and author OGC Cream has just dropped the highly-anticipated music video for his latest single, "C.R.E.A.M." The North Carolina native continues his dynamic run in the entertainment world, showcasing his versatility in both music and film. “C.R.E.A.M. encourages people to make their money no matter what society deems cool or in,” said OGC Cream. Over the rich synth-driven soundscape, OGC Cream gives us the day and life of a hustler trying to make it while getting reviews on what money means to people in the community. More than just a music video, "C.R.E.A.M." is also a short film that highlights OGC Cream's acting chops, further solidifying his presence as a multi-talented artist. The song's inspiration stems from the economic struggles brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. OGC explained that the track is about resilience, encouraging people to find ways to generate income and survive, no matter the obstacles.
Besides music making, OGC Cream is also an inspiring actor who recently appeared in *Dutch 2* on BET+, playing a goon in a criminal organization run by Lance Gross' character Dutch. He also wrapped filming for *Dutch 3* earlier this year and co-owns a production company. His company recently finished shooting Love Is Illusion, an independent film starring Mimi Faust, D’Kia Anderson, Headkrack, and Dana Dane.
OGC Cream, who started taking music seriously about seven years ago, has been crafting rhymes since he was 16, originally going by the name MAJESTIC. Growing up in the projects and enduring time in prison, he used music as a way to navigate through hardship. The video serves as a powerful introduction to the first single from his upcoming album, and it's already generating buzz for a remix featuring Omeretta The Great.
