With "FAR WEST", Hunters of the Alps pens a song all about the joy of the road trip. A trip through the expansive American Southwest can be riveting, fun and transformative and with their new single, Hunters of the Alps takes the listener on this thrilling journey. The song also shows how fun sharing music can be, most specifically in the car. Lyrics including, "So I drive with you as while we listen to your songs…" show this theme. Sonically, "FAR WEST" is a shimmery affair complete with bright synths, bold beats and baritone rich vocals. The single produced by Nicolas Losada (Salt Cathedral), is intoxicating, dreamy and lush with Hunters of the Alps creating the ultimate earworm. The music video shows the artist on a road trip filled with open space, highways and mountains.
Hunters of the Alps began sharing music in 2016. Their latest EP ROMA tackles themes including the pain of trying to hold onto memories that leave and seeing another you love go through a debilitating illness. The music was influenced by Mario's personal experience with his mother having Alzheimers. Check out the new music now and enjoy the listen.
