Returning with an undeniably catchy, disco-driven piece of funk is Lemonade Baby, returning to Mammal Sounds with the infectious new single "Yeah Yeah Yeah (lifestyle)" – The track blends catchy electronic beats with a nostalgic yet modern flair, pulling in elements of classic disco while keeping things undeniably fresh. The groovy bassline, paired with its vibrant piano melodies, gives the track a playful energy that feels ready-made for the dance floor.
The song’s infectious "yeah yeah yeah" vocal hook floats effortlessly over crisp, well-crafted instrumentation, adding a sense of spontaneity that reflects Lemonade Baby's experience creating it on the road in Japan and France. You can hear the influence of both cultures, with the track balancing laid-back cool and upbeat disco energy. The production is tight and polished, yet it retains a raw, live feel, reminiscent of Daft Punk's early work, with an added modern twist. It’s clear that Lemonade Baby’s experience abroad fed directly into the track's creative process, inspiring a sound that feels both globally influenced and uniquely his own.
“YYY is the only song to be entirely written while overseas. I started the beat in Japan and tracked the vocals in France. While being abroad I’ve met a lot of people who love the same electronic music as me. it's been super refreshing and inspiring. I had this piano line I was starting with for the beat, then the drums, bassline and the “yeah yeah yeah” vocals. All elements came together supernaturally, and I felt very emotionally connected to the instrumental when creating it. Being on the road has its limitations with recording vocals, I had this idea so quickly sang it into my voice memos and then forgot about the song the next month until I was in a hotel to record it." ~ Lemonade Baby
