YellaCatt, the Seattle-based electropop artist known for her sultry beats and evocative melodies, has unveiled her latest single, "Dark Star." With this release, she expands her sonic universe, inviting fans to experience a world where sensuality, empowerment, and mysticism collide. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, YellaCatt maintains a profound connection to nature, which permeates her music with an ethereal quality. Since the inception of YellaCatt in 2017, she has been on a journey of self-exploration, evolving from her rock and blues roots into the electro-pop realm. The track is populated with bold assertive lyrics, plucky retro-styled synths with a modern twist, and crisp dynamic rhythms underpinned by her sultry vocal runs and a stunning catchy pop hook to complete the job. The result is a sexy anthem that captures YellaCatt in her element, confidently asserting her presence and inviting listeners to join her in a playful, psychedelic exploration of cosmic love.

The accompanying music video, directed by Sequoia Emmanuelle, taps into the sexy energy of the song with a visually rich, fashion-forward production that perfectly complements the song's power. Shot in three different locations, the video features dynamic choreography by Genna Carey and stunning performances by dancers Genna Carey and Hannah Simmons. The styling, led by Melvin Sanders, combines elements of fantasy and high fashion, with YellaCatt adding her touch by donning a Rick Owens dress from her collection.

As she prepares for the next chapter in her career, YellaCatt remains committed to creating music that inspires, empowers, and captivates. "Dark Star" is more than just a song; it's an invitation to step into YellaCatt's world—a place where the boundaries of reality and fantasy blur, and where everyone is welcome to explore their own cosmic journey.
