Alt-pop Ethiopian-Sudanese singer-songwriter and musical goddess Alemeda has just shared the highlighted single off of her debut EP FK IT via Warner Records. The song is entitled “I already dug your grave" and it is a mesmerizing slice of alt pop.

With “I already dug your grave", Alemeda crafts a song all about moving on from a toxic and horrible ex. She tells them she knows all the bad things they have done and she has moved on with metaphors of death mirroring the end of the relationship. Lyrics showing this narrative include, "Do you regret the things you've done? / You never thought I'd cut you off / I never thought so too / But it's too late / In my head, you're six feet under / Even if you call me up / I already changed my number / I already dug your grave." Sonically, “I already dug your grave" fuses pop punk with alt pop and rock for an enticing listen. Alemeda's vocals are soulful and confident, singing lyrics of empowerment. Upbeat invigorating guitar riffs and driving basslines underlay arena-worthy melodies for a standout track.

Alemeda is known for creating anthemic genre-defying bangers all about defiance, self-love, discovery and heartache. The artist burst onto the scene in 2021 with her viral hit “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows" and since then has been building a fervent fanbase captivated by her musical releases. Check out “I already dug your grave" now and remember to move on from what doesn't serve you.
