Emerging singer-songwriter Bella Gate is set to make waves with the release of her debut album Gateway. The 23-year-old London-based artist has been crafting songs since the age of nine, and Gateway is the culmination of years of writing and performing.
Written between ages 14 and 22, Gateway captures Gate's personal journey through adolescence and into adulthood. Reflecting on themes of growth and vulnerability, the album is a window into her emotional inner workings. “This album is a gateway from my past to my present," Gate explains. "It's about navigating the challenges of adolescence and coming to terms with who I am today."
Blending ballads, folk influences, and up-tempo tracks, Gateway offers a rich mix of sound and sentiment. The album was recorded at Sol de Sants and RoomTo studios in Barcelona, with UK-based producer Jordan Round and mastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road Studios.
Gateway is out now, with Bella Gate inviting listeners to join her on her musical and emotional journey of self-discovery and healing.
