The Keymakers offer up genre-defying anthem "Separate"

Dynamic brother duo The Keymakers offer up genre-defying anthem “Separate,” delivering a smooth and soulful blend of electronic, chill house, and pop wrapping around a deeply personal reflection on long-distance relationships.

Building upon layers of piano, electric guitars and synths, the track brims with tender emotions as it explores the bittersweet feeling that accompanies having a loved one far away.

Transforming a vulnerability into strength, the track channels the concept of separation into a skill that can be learned and taught.

Speaking of the track, they say “Separate is a really personal song for us, and we want that emotion to come through when you listen to it. Distance, heartache, longing – these are things almost all of us have experienced, and we hope people can relate to what we’re saying with the song – and find their own story in it. We wrote the lyrics for this one first, and then let the production take shape around it, and we tried to create a sound that really allows our listeners to connect with those feelings.”

Brothers Rome and Red, who grew up with a passion for music have come together to captivate us as The Keymakers, drawing us into an intricate and innovative sonic world that zooms in on resonant messages and transformative soundscapes
