Inspired by her newfound freedom and growth, the track is a testament to Ray's resilient spirit and her journey as a young black woman who survived the flames. The track produced by Produced by 169 and GG flips Roy Ayers's classic "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" with a touch of her ingenuity as a singer, Ray leads the audience into her world as she sings "Take a seat and watch the show, I’m golden,” with much gusto.

Ray BLK's debut mixtape, Havisham, drew inspiration from Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, telling a story of heartbreak and empowerment, introducing her to the British audience in 2016.
