UK-based Nigerian Afropop artist Gift OFA (Gift of Africa) releases his new project Ebun-Oluwa, which means ‘God’s Gift’ in English. The condensed 4-track offering is a heartfelt and personal project that celebrates growth and captures the artist that Gift OFA has become today.

The opening track "GOFA" sets the tone with Gift detailing the why, what, where, and who behind his artistic motives. From his humble beginnings in his hometown Edo State in Nigeria to making a name for himself in Southeast London, UK, Gift embraces his roots, his flaws, and the essence of his roots from the jump. This is followed by the title track "Ebun Oluwa," a soft reflective tune that is ripe with Gift's mellow sultry melodies and celebratory lyrics that detail his past struggles and his growth.

"Majo" is a love tune that pays homage to divine African feminine energy and beauty which compels him to go the extra mile for his lover, while the final track "SOS" is a vibrant but sensual track with playful wordplay, representing Gift’s multifaceted and cheerful personality. Throughout the Ebun-Oluwa EP, Gift OFA delivers a powerful and resonant showing, a testament to his versatility and ability to connect deeply with his listeners.

Gift OFA, also known by the alias ‘Of Africa’, is bringing the rich melodies of UK afrobeats from the vibrant city of London, by way of his hometown Edo State, to the global stage. Influenced by legendary Nigerian musicians like the late great Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the iconic D’Banj, and afrobeats royalty Wizkid, Gift OFA’s music reflects a unique fusion of tradition and modernity.

FYI- Gift OFA released his debut project under the moniker LipsyBaby, however, due to a lengthy legal battle with retail giants NEXT, he was forced to change his name.
