Ninajirachi is more than just another name in the world of electronic music—she’s a force reshaping it. With the release of her highly anticipated LP girl EDM (disc 1), the Australian producer is carving out a lane entirely her own. Where other artists follow trends, Ninajirachi sets them, and this album proves she’s playing the long game.

Known for her unpredictable, glitchy production and experimental sound, girl EDM (disc 1) feels like the next evolution in her journey. It’s a deliberate yet playful nod to the golden era of electro and house music, all wrapped in a futuristic shell. Drawing inspiration from late 2000s and early 2010s dance tracks, the album is like a time capsule with a twist—Ninajirachi reinvents the past to craft something that sounds unmistakably like the future. Tracks like “Hand on my heart” and “Ninacamina” hit with a kinetic energy that’s impossible to resist, combining hard dance rhythms with dreamy, synth-heavy landscapes.

Then there’s “Angel Music,” a standout collaboration with NYC-based duo MGNA Crrrta. It’s the kind of track that feels tailor-made for the late-night crowd, overflowing with a mix of electro-pop nostalgia and Ninajirachi’s signature experimental edge.

But what makes Ninajirachi special isn’t just her production skills—it's her vision. “People always ask me to describe my music, and I’ve come to realize it’s just girl EDM,” she says. “It’s the music that raised me. I grew up on EDM and dance-pop, and this album is a love letter to that era.” But for Ninajirachi, it’s not about looking back—it’s about reimagining the sounds that shaped her and pushing them forward.

'girl EDM (disc 1)' feels like the culmination of years of experimentation, a project that both honors the past and pushes the boundaries of what electronic music can be. But what truly sets Ninajirachi apart is her ability to make you feel something. Whether it’s the euphoric highs or the glitchy, left-field drops, her music is an experience—a ride through soundscapes that are as emotional as they are electrifying.
