Big Sean and Alchemist with "Together Forever"

We’ve all probably been waiting for a collaboration again with their second major collaboration on "Together Forever." Big Sean's excellent lyricism and cadence with Alchemist’s timeless production. A lot of artists have worked with Al, so another record would be long overdue. The track has smooth production, and beautiful vocal chops throughout the record, adding well-rounded sonic depth; and a full feel. The crisp drums resonated in the production completely bringing it to life. Visually you can see the picture of destiny being poured out.

With a nice intro building up to the rhyming letting us know about life a little bit, it's solid but also blesses us with what sounds like a beautiful saxophone being played. Big Sean comes in with a flurry of rhymes setting off the track surely. But if you're listening, his lyrics also have meaning, a true genuine perspective to what sounds like gratitude for his position in life.

He rhymes smoothly until the beat drops in. The first verse is definitely solid. He always shows us his personality within the record by dragging out his e's and r’s on the chorus, but he also adds interesting adlibs and background vocals.

The second verse was deserving of being the anchor verse. He reminds us that he is a top-tier lyricist (something we had no reason to forget). “Kick down the door and made me a master key, for all the dogs coming after me”. The track is full of witty lines, metaphors, and punchlines but progressively, each line leads into each other well. It doesn't feel forced or out of order but the entire piece of the track feels organic and natural. The chemistry between his delivery and style mesh well with the style and sound of Alchemist’s production. This indeed would be what I consider an extremely successful collaborative effort. A beautiful piece of art from two legends.

The track ends with a snippet of another possible Big Sean & Alchemist track, alluding to more from the two.
