The Singer and The Songwriter, a folk music duo from Oakland, share their 5th studio release, "Dreams! The Dead! Ghost! Future." This release marks their 3rd full-length album since receiving an award. The album, which features a total of 13 songs and has a duration of 41 minutes, was meticulously crafted over a decade and delves into the themes of personal experiences and societal observations. The title of the album is derived from an old sign, symbolizing dreams, reminiscences of the departed, and aspirations for a promising future.

Recorded at a renowned studio utilizing vintage equipment, the album emanates a timeless and warm tonality. The lead single, "Sound & Light," has already gained admiration from their loyal fanbase. Other notable tracks such as "The Work," an ode to diligence, and "Over Easy" and "You Take Such Good Care of Me" highlight their storytelling prowess and ability to compose cohesive musical works.

In this release, the duo seek to authentically convey heartfelt narratives and deliver an exceptionally crafted musical experience.
