The track explores the tension between meeting unrealistic expectations and the journey of self-recovery, with Catlea describing her music as her sanctuary, saying, "For me, music has always been the point. It helps me get up in the morning, get through the day, and find meaning I’d otherwise miss in the moments in between the busy events of life. Music creates a space for me where I feel at home."
The track was produced by Claudia Mills of BITTERS, features piano by Nick Tsang (Ed Sheeran, The Script), and was mixed and mastered by Jason Boshoff (Josh Groban, David Gray) at Room to Studios in Barcelona.
