Hardworking LA Rapper Trizz and longtime collaborator producer MIKE SUMMERS gift us their latest summer banger "Givin' It Up," which sees the duo recruiting veteran West Coast singer/songwriter Kokane. Bolstered by MIKE SUMMERS' speaker-bursting production inspired by George Clinton's P-Funk basslines and groove with that authentic dark G-Funk aesthetics, Trizz steps to the podium with his silky flows and confident demeanour. He embodies the rebellious spirit of his predecessors like Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre with no-frills and street-savvy bars reminding us of his West Coast roots. Kokane on the other hand, smoothens things out with his expressive melodic runs in the chorus section.
