Marlee Quirarte has shared a new release called "Romeo". Hailing originally from Kansas City but now based in Los Angeles, Quirarte has been transitioning from acting to music over the past few years, carving out her genre-bending, emotive sound woven from her diverse upbringing surrounded by blues bars, funk, R&B, hip hop, and punk rock. Her latest offering, "Romeo", presents a moody, engaging song with pop, dark pop, and R&B undertones, featuring silky vocals from Quirarte.

"Romeo" builds a mysterious, vivid soundscape with its usage of emotive, minimalistic keys, weaving strings, and rich percussion. Vocally, Quirarte delivers enticing lines that demonstrate her smooth vocal style, while her rising melodies blend sleekly with the orchestral instrumentation. The track carries a freeing atmosphere that becomes more apparent as "Romeo" progresses, as tension gets released through poignant layers of strings and underlying balmy synths. The accompanying visual's warmth, focus, and intimate feel make it pair cohesively with the track's heartfelt sound.

Quirarte's latest offering "Romeo" makes for an elegant release that balances light and dark tones for an immersive listening experience.
