Connecticut based singer-songwriter and musician The Unfinished Story has just released his latest enthralling single. The song is a unique and acoustic guitar-driven rendition of Nirvana's hit single "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
The Unfinished Story was inspired to record a different version of the song after he heard Florence and the Machine's vivid cover of the No Doubt song "I'm Just a Girl" on the popular series Yellowjackets. Finding inspiration in taking an iconic song from the 90s and transforming it into something utterly personal, distinctive and contrasting, he found himself drawn back into his past CD collection. Deciding on Nirvana's breakout hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the musician created a slow burning lush acoustic gem. Complete with melancholic rich piano chords, wistful acoustic guitars, moody cello, and soul-baring vocals, the song is a cinematic treasure.
