We're in tune for a classic with "Love is the message"!

Without delay, "Love is the message" is a powerful collaboration of artists sharing their lyrical capabilities. California vocalist Sally Green serenaded the track with her soulful vocals on the chorus. Green provides a beautiful voice for a completely soulful feel and sounding message. Green is just one of the countless heavy hitters featured on the song, including the late Nipsey Hussle.

Rakim starts off with a smooth introspective verse with presence, cadence, and power for the intro painting a real perspective. One that is moving and sharp, showing that his skills are absolutely timeless in every shape and form.

Every emcee carried their weight, it didn't feel dry or outdated but fresh, new, and respective to a classic Hip Hop sound and style. With this wave of music, Rakim is definitely dropping something dope for the masses. West Coast legend Planet Asia was a superb addition.

The mix of vocal tones and content gave the record depth. In his words, “this right here is recorded history.” Planet Asia is a respected and maybe even feared lyrical genius. With this in mind, his verse was a definite addition to the aggression. His lyrics always have the capability of painting strong images.

This is another true example of New York and the West Coast paying respect to one another. If you aren't too familiar with Louis King, he’ll let you know why he anchored the record, “It ain't about the mentions, I told you its bout’ the message.” A great ending verse to a great record. The video displayed a beautiful concept of what is being said by the respected artist rapping. Beautiful artistic visuals. Snoop Dogg ended the track with his presence which is always a plus. This one did just that with this. Love will forever be the message for them and us all.
