Mansfield’s powerhouse indie rock band The Publics blends catchy riffs and powerful choruses on “D.B. Cooper,” an energetic production showcasing the band’s electrifying musicality.

Based on one of the FBI's greatest unsolved mysteries, the track evokes a mysterious yet bouncy atmosphere led by ominous baselines, futuristic guitars and chanting vocals that stands out with forceful energy. Speaking of the narrative, they say, “D. B. Cooper recounts how one manager stole from multiple bands before they collapsed and were forced to disband.”

Consisting of Josh Porter, Elliot Stephenson, Ollie Siggee, Tom Scott, and Taylor Gadsby, The Publics who have carved out a space for themselves with intricate songwriting and a dynamic range of sounds are set to captivate us with their new EP.
