Boston-based indie rock band PIMMER shares vivid anthem “Distance Dam,” the opening track off new expansive debut LP Halcyon 303.
Inspired by an economics article, the track brims with a dystopian yet grounding touch that resonates with everyone tuning in with its intimate yet relatable rumination.
Speaking of the track, he says, “Lyrically, it discusses travel across the USA, between big cities, while acknowledging the immense power required to keep our way of life going. Meanwhile, the narrator, who has a more rootless existence, is holding court.”
