Zubi's new single "NEPA" explores betrayal

London-based alternative soul singer Zubi delivers his new single "NEPA," a mellow reflective tune that explores the emotional pain that comes with betrayal and heartbreak. The dreamy heartbreak ballad comprises layered keys, and lush dreamy textures underpinned by sparse downtempo drum grooves which sound perfect for Zubi's reflective and diatribe-laced melodic runs.

He casually calls for spiritual retribution and vengeance on his former lover as he works through the deep pain that was inflicted on his heart. Inspired by his life experience dealing with betrayal from someone he loved, Zubi pours all his anger and hurt on wax to bring us this relatable tune that we can all play for our exes.

Zubi is presently working on his forthcoming album Ghost of the Buj which is the follow-up to his Journey To Idan project, which was released last autumn.
