Music can soothe ailing hearts, rekindle emotional strength, and uplift moods. One such empowering track is the latest single by AleXa, a promising contemporary artist known for an approach to music that motivates audiences to discover their self-worth amidst life's complexities. Her new single "distraction" shows her ability to touch millions of hearts and inspire them to embrace their true selves.

"distraction" delves deep into themes of self-worth and the complexities of love, resonating with listeners from all walks of life. Her signature fierce vocals and electrifying energy are evident in the message of self-worth.

The track is a lyrical saga that refuses to settle for convenience in relationships. AleXa emphasizes that love is a mutual exchange, and if respect isn’t reciprocated, it's time to move on. Her powerful words encourage listeners to value themselves and never compromise their self-respect or emotional well-being.

Sharing the inspiration behind this song, AleXa stated, “I wanted to create a song that speaks to anyone who has ever felt undervalued in a relationship." “distraction” is not just a melody but a message of empowerment, helping people value themselves and not be anyone's second choice.

“distraction" is the latest in AleXa’s series of English-language tracks, following "i’m okay" and "sick." Each song showcases her versatility and commitment to creating music that resonates on a personal level. AleXa was exposed to a multicultural background that shaped her artistic perspective as she grew up as the daughter of a Korean adoptee in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her career took a positive turn after she won Soompi’s “Rising Legends,” a competition where nearly a million fans voted her as the victor. This earned her a contract with ZB Label. She also competed in Mnet’s “PRODUCE 48,” one of Korea's most competitive audition shows.

"distraction" showcases AleXa’s ability to blend powerful messages with captivating melodies. Those seeking to not just be enthralled but also be empowered by music can stream “distraction” or watch its official music video for an immersive experience. The song is a reflection of her evolution as an artist who is committed to creating something unique and inspiring to listeners.
