Chike yearns for true love in new single "Your Loss" (featuring Qing Madi)

Award-winning Nigerian singer/songwriter Chike delivers the single "Your Loss" featuring singer Qing Madi. The guitar-laden track sees Chike demanding better treatment from a lover, or he is out the door. The singer doesn't mince his words, and after going through all his options, he makes a decision that is best for him. Joining him is a fellow Nigerian singer Qing Madi, whose sultry melodic runs complement Chike's and add a female perspective to the record.

"Your Loss" is taken from Chike's new album, Son Of Chike, a 12-track project that is inspired by his Ibo heritage and his family's roots. The entire project was written and composed by Chike and produced by his longtime collaborator DeeYasso who laces him with a range of soundscapes filled with emotions and cinematic textures. The project also features Nigerian rappers Ladipoe and Olamide, the late singer Mohbad, Amaeya and Qing Madi.

Award-winning Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actor Chike rose to prominence on Project Fame West Africa and The Voice Nigeria before dropping his critically acclaimed debut Boo of the Booless. He followed it with the sophomore album, The Brother's Keeper, and at the same time he ventured into acting, playing the cult character Mayowa Badmus in the popular Africa Magic telenovela series Battleground, and starring in last year’s Amazon Prime hit movie Gangs of Lagos, Africa's first Amazon Original Movie.
