Post-punk/alt band First Day of Spring celebrates finding a place for yourself with "The Rising Tide," an immersive and crisp anthem offering a glimpse of upcoming EP Be My Hospital. With glimmering shoegaze sensibilities rooted in crystal vocals over sharp yet bright melodies, the track is subtle and floaty as it evokes a sense of dreaminess cut short by distorted grit.

Speaking of the emotive track, they share,  “The Rising Tide is about observing your surroundings and finding a place internally, where you can feel authentic in your own thoughts, beliefs and values without any external deluge of influence. It’s about being an individual. It’s about being strong.”

Diving into feelings of negativity, loss, anger, pain and melancholy on sophomore EP Be My Hospital, is a four-track  collection that weaves through delicate piano arrangements into roaring guitars is set to be a profound and creative exploration that strikes a perfect balance between art and melody offering catharsis and solace at a crossroads of familiarity and originality.

With an expressive yet unapologetic musicality, First Day Of Spring is on the cusp  of an exciting new sonic chapter that leaves us excited for what’s to come.
