Avant garde artist, part time fairy Luna Li returns with her latest single before the release of her sophomore album.
Luna Li is no stranger to crafting ethereal sounds, with a softer sense of character embedded in the melodies. Her personality seeps into every technical aspect, from the production quality to the choice of the room where it's recorded.
"Golden Hour" is the latest in Li's mystical repertoire and offers the same calm and wildering song one might hear while entering the enchanted forest to select a quest from the old tavern. Layered with echoing choruses and the softest drum progression, the tune gradually builds a dynamic energy with sweeping strings. With lyrics that portray Li's colorful, pastel forestry imagery, it's the perfect earworm to get lost in.
The accompanying video offers a grand job in building this colorful, Li's been painting. Her last single introduced us to an image of Li with an axe in a forest, "Golden Hour" takes us into said environment and creates more context for a growing concept Li is building for the next album. One, the audience will experience soon as each day passes.
