TAVE's "No More Maybes" is a bold triumph into R&B

In the ever-evolving landscape of R&B, Grammy nominated songwriter and producer TAVE emerges as a visionary force with his debut single, "No More Maybes" featuring Bibi Bourelly and India Shawn. This track isn't just a song; it's a statement, a cultural fusion that demands attention from the very first note. This comes as no surprise from TAVE, who was Grammy nominated for his contributions on Masego's Studying Abroad: Extended Stay album and 6LACK's "Inwood Hill Park" from his album Since I Have a Lover.

"No More Maybes" creates a soundscape that's both familiar and refreshingly innovative. The production is a lush tapestry of euphoric harmonies and emotive guitar work, all underscored by silky, layered melodies that showcase TAVE's keen ear for arrangement. Lyrics such as, "I've been in a zone tryna get my peace back // I'd rather be alone than get caught in your traps" give a glimpse into the song's essence, which is that of self-worth and courage delivered in a cohesive groove-inducing way. This theme resonates deeply in today's R&B landscape, where authenticity and self-expression reign. What truly elevates "No More Maybes" to a must-listen status is its star-studded collaboration, with India Shawn describing the project as a "dream collaboration" that allowed her to explore a darker, more rebellious side of her artistry.

London born and bred TAVE has had a comprehensive career working alongside Little Mix, 6LACK, Masego, The Saturdays, Aespa, Rapsody, SiR, Kelly Rowland, The-Dream, EXO, Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, and more. With this release, TAVE not only cements his place as an artist in the contemporary R&B scene but also pushes the genre's boundaries. Take a listen to the vibes of "No More Maybes" featuring Bibi Bourelly and India Shawn.
