As rising Nigerian singer Konstance prepares for her debut EP, she releases her new single "My Heart," featuring fellow Nigerian singer Majeeed. The track, written and composed by both artists, is an R&B/afrobeats-infused jam that is centered on puppy love and the emotions that come with finding that special someone. Bolstered by the warm guitar licks and sublime textures, Konstance and Majeeed share candid feelings about going all the way for their lovers and they hope the love gets reciprocated with the same energy. Majeeed led the song with a mix of Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin English followed by Konstance's sultry melodic runs and a captivating hook that cements the true essence of love.

The song also comes with a music video directed by Bushboy Machiavelli (Ayra Starr, Bella Shmurda, Oxlade) and shot on location in Lagos, which perfectly complements the song’s narrative of young love, and brings the track further to life using a stylish set piece, eye-popping motifs and engaging visual effects.

According to a press release,

At just 19 years old, Konstance is already making waves in the African music scene, all while balancing her studies at the storied Lagos State University. Her musical journey took a transformative turn when she earned a coveted spot among the top 10 finalists on Nigerian Idol 2023. Her performances on the show left audiences mesmerized, showcasing a captivating vocal range that combines celestial harmonies with an enchanting appeal and profound soulfulness. Konstance's sound is driven by her passion and authenticity that have resonated deeply with listeners across the continent.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Lagos, Konstance’s musical journey started at a young age, but it is her mesmerizing voice that has quickly garnered recent attention, leading her to earn recognition from notable figures in the global music industry, including Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and Kizz Daniel. Amidst a music industry filled with commodified pop acts and formulaic arrangements, Konstance stands out as a refreshing anomaly, bringing a unique blend of R&B and afrobeats to the forefront, as she paves the way for a bright future in the music industry.

Konstance is signed to Bankulli Entertainment, the label imprint of Beyonce and Kanye West collaborator Bankulli.
