Post Death Soundtrack's latest album, "Veil Lifter," represents a departure from their previous work, embracing a more raw and unfiltered sound. Departing from the orchestrated industrial landscapes of their previous album, "It Will Come Out of Nowhere," "Veil Lifter" incorporates elements of doom, grunge, hardcore, and thrash, resulting in a blend of nostalgic and modern influences.

The album draws inspiration from iconic bands such as Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, and The Stooges, while also acknowledging contemporary heavyweights like Russian Circles, Windhand, Queens of the Stone Age, and YOB. The result is a relentless auditory assault characterized by sludgy riffs, hardcore fury, hypnotic grooves, and empyrean ambiences, evoking a sense of unwelcome outsider mentality.

Each of the meticulously crafted tracks on "Veil Lifter" contributes to an immersive 50-minute sonic journey, demanding and rewarding full attention. Post Death Soundtrack has taken a bold step forward in their musical journey with this album, creating a body of work that pays homage to their influences while pushing the boundaries of heavy music. For enthusiasts of heavy music, "Veil Lifter" is a must-listen, showcasing a band at the peak of their creative prowess.
