Creative Goddess Heather Mae has just released her latest alt pop single. Called “All I Wanna Do”, the song is off of her forthcoming album and follows the irresistible summer love song “Kissing Girls” shared last month.

“All I Wanna Do” is not just another sex anthem, the song actually stems from the sapphic love story between Naomi and Ruth in the Bible. Ruth’s loyalty and dedication to Naomi is often seen as an example of lesbian love and the track celebrates these sometimes hidden love affairs. This narrative also mirrors Heather Mae’s coming out story as she had her own Naomis in her life. Lyrics including, “In the dark dark dark of the night / You’d show me all the little things you’d like / All I wanna do is put my mouth on you,” show this intense attraction. Musically, “All I Wanna Do” features slow burned beats, colorful and vibrant synths and a gospel inspired chorus. Heather’s uncanny ability to create a remarkable musical moment is on full display and her vocals entice with every note.

Heather Mae is currently based in Nashville, TN and the artist has made waves with her authentic love songs, dedication to activism and dynamic live shows. “All I Wanna Do” is the perfect song to blast on high while you celebrate PRIDE month.
