Harlow, Essex-based indie singer/songwriter Roisin Quinn returns with her new single "Good Girl Syndrome" just in time for summer.
The track is a smooth hip-hop/R&B/Soul-infused tune that serves to empower women, reminding them to break free of the social construct put in place to stifle their true strengths. The production has a jazzy/soul feel and comprises a prevalent upright bass guitar with sombre pads and a smooth drum groove to match Roisin's distinct and straightforward rap cadence and rich melodic runs.
The verses are packed with insightful gems for the women and it's also peppered with her experiences as a woman in a male-driven industry. She doesn't shy away from being candid and in turn inspiring women to do the same, that is to speak their minds and never let anyone look down on their talents.
