Dillon & Batsauce continue their recent slew of releases with this brilliant visual for the song "Banana Peels". The track is a blend of wit, and playful lyricism underpinned by a rich retro soundscape that pays homage to a long-forgotten era. As the name suggests, Dillon juxtaposes the comedic element of slapstick performances with modern-day rap where everyone does the same thing and looks the same. Far from sounding like the old hip-hop head on the porch, Dillon uses playful metaphors and engaging rhyme schemes to get his message across with lines like "I've got to hop in the car just to garner traffic/Even though my bandwidth's abundant/I'm all about the party like a political pundit/I'd rather be rejected than redundant". The video comes with a brilliant animation inspired by the classic Spy Vs Spy comics and once again we get to see the two characters battle it on screen. Batsauce crafted the animation himself with the knowledge he gained from being an art teacher and a self-taught animator.
