Synth pop masterminds and innovative musical duo Ryal have just unveiled a dual sided single. Called "Token/Post" the two pieces follow the band's release of "Pressure" earlier this year.

The creative offering begins with "Token" which marks the story of the escape from a toxic and harmful relationship. Lyrics including "Knew I should get out of your way / This graveyard calls my name / You will take me down this trouble," show just how intense and troubled the love affair is. The song acknowledges a path towards leaving and ultimate solace that will happen when the relationship is over. Musically, "Token" features wild beats, a seductive electric bassline and a cathartic pop-laden hook. The song also features an ode to Brazilian electro-pop with unique basslines, percussion and tropical rhythm guitar. Then there is "Post", which narrates when someone begins a poisonous new relationship. Despite the initial excitement, a sense of dread ensues. She sings, "Look out for a night exciting / Send over some perfect timing / Watch out there’s a strike of lightning / Send over some peace not fighting," showing the quick transition into toxicity. "Post" is an enthralling avant garde electronic rock affair complete with futuristic vocals and blazing electric guitar riffs. The song also features a Roland 707 drum machine and swirling synths as well as enthralling vocals for a must listen.

Ryal is the musical project of Aaron Nevezie and Jacque Ryal. The duo began sharing music in 2015 and since then have released a series of innovative musical compositions. Check out their duel single now and get ready for a blissful sonic ride.
