Norwegian/Scottish, London-based duo amilost dives into profoundly personal yet relatable subject on “Bloom,” offering up bittersweet anthem on being single.

Experimenting with electronic textures alongside familiar gloomy vocals, the track kicks up with glittering bells and echoing drums to make for a soaring and smooth soundscape.

Detailing the end of a toxic relationship and the new lease of life that brings, the track balances pain with gratitude and blooming hope for the future. Speaking of message behind the track, the duo say “Coming out of that toxic relationship feels like thawing, but soon you’re ready to bloom and make life beautiful again on your own terms. Blooming after a bad situation is such a high that you don’t want to come down from, and it really motivates you to focus on yourself and be grateful for everything you have.”

With a unique brand of Scandi pop brought to life with a cinematic touch, amilost continue to go from strength to strength with each new luscious offering.
