Ericka Nicole Malone is an artist to her core. From NAACP Award winner, to documentarian, to songwriter, Malone pushes herself to new heights through a diverse array of artistic mediums. Her latest release "I'm Climbin'" is the leading song from her new documentary The Bucketwish. Celebrating our resilient nature as people and a testament to Malone's relentless work ethic, "I'm Climbin'" is an inspiring reverie on pursuing our wildest dreams.

Unabashedly original, "I'm Climbin'" strikes a unique chord of R&B meets neo-soul for a blend that's refreshing and warm. Packed with deep-rooted bass lines, ethereal flourishes of piano, and an entrancing vocal from Malone, "I'm Climbin" speaks straight to the spirit. She sings, “A million moments transcend to one / Each step I’m climbin’, I’m overcome.” The single was produced by the Grammy Award winner and co-writer of "Where is the Love?" by the Black Eyed Peas, Printz Board. "I'm Climbin'" is about doing the impossible by shifting your mindset and for Ericka Nicole Malone, this is only just the beginning.

Revealing more on the story behind "I'm Climbin'", Ericka admits, “I penned “I’m Climbin’” as a lead song on the soundtrack to The Bucketwish because I want people to remember who they are and to keep climbing up the stairs of life to different levels no matter how hard it gets.”

Ericka Nicole Malone's new documentary The Bucketwish is about embracing creativity at every stage of life, reminding viewers that it's always the right time to try something new. She is dedicated to uplifting female artists and BIPOC communities through her work. Listen to "I'm Climbin'" for your daily dose of musical inspiration.
