Joshua Tree duo FireBug has just unleashed their new important single. Called "RED, WHITE AND BLUE", the track is the latest from the bluesy rock twosome following their 2022 full album release No Return.

With "RED, WHITE AND BLUE", FireBug writes a song all about how important it is to hear one another and move towards coming together towards peace. The U.S. has become so divisive with different opinions and the song aims to bring people of all backgrounds an understanding of healing. Jules from the band proclaims, "We have more in common than what separates us. Ultimately, love is better than hate and there is hope the American dream is still attainable for us all.” Lyrics reinforcing this theme include "Staring out into the fields / Out into the great divide / All is lost, nothing’s gained / When you’re lost in your pride." Musically, the track begins with a unique drumming pattern reminiscent of the battle cries from colonial America. The song soon introduces riveting electric guitar riffs under captivating vocals reminiscent of The Cranberries meets Janis Joplin. "RED, WHITE AND BLUE" fuses rock, blues, and pop for an explosive and enticing listen. The duo worked alongside two-time Grammy Award winner Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters and Muse) for this ingenious musical offering.

FireBug is known for their timeless rock songs and invigorating live performances. The duo have performed at well known festivals including SXSW, Firelight Festival, and the French Quarter Festival as well as the Sonisphere Festival Knebworth, sharing the stage with the likes of Iggy Pop, The Cult, and Iron Maiden. Take a listen to "RED, WHITE AND BLUE" now and remember we are more alike than different.
