Singer-songwriter and musician extraordinaire Casii Stephan has just shared her latest soulful musical offering. Entitled "Wine & Gold", the single follows her just released song "Can't Handle Me", both of which are off of her upcoming EP Relationship Status set for release later this year.
"Wine & Gold" is a truly romantic song all about that yearning, intoxicating and joyous feeling of being in love. This kind of love is so intense that often others around you hope you will make it through and not go insane. Casii sings, "What we got can't compare / To Wine & Gold / Just love you so bad / Hold me tight and just believe me," reminding her object of affection that they have all her attention and love. Jazzy drums, groove-induced bass and funky keys entice with every note. The real highlight though is Casii's incredible vocal prowess making the listener intoxicated with every note. A bold horn section also adds to the fiercy and exciting soul pop rock number.
Casii Stephan grew up in Minnesota but moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she now resides. Her music has touched listeners all around the globe and she has performed at prominent festivals including SXSW and Folk Alliance showcases as well as at the virtual Sundance Film Festival.
