Emerging pop singer-songwriter Dizzy Goku traverses the worlds of modern pop and R&B with a unique twist. The UK artist first came on the scene in 2023 with his debut EP Nightmares and Fantasies and is currently working on his sophomore project but in the meantime, he shares with us his lead single “Better Sides of You” and its accompanying video. The mellow guitar-driven tune sees him teaming up with a trio of London-based instrumentalists made up of drummer Rocco Hussle, bassist Sh0tgun Josh and Debani on the electric guitars. The layered production has a warm and reflective feel that captures the emotions that come with falling in love and we see Dizzy exploring the never-ending cycle of dating and the wonderful feeling of finding that one true love. In addition to the relatable songwriting, Dizzy's rich vocal undertone is the icing on the cake as he floats elegantly over the warm soundscape.
The accompanying visual takes place in an intimate setting with a group of people speed dating and the unpredictability of human interaction. It's all fun and games as everyone gravitates towards what makes him feel homely and we must agree, we are all different.
