UK born and bred singer, musician and songwriter Rosalie James has just unleashed her latest single and accompanied music video. Entitled "Soft Target", the song follows her track "Girl I Was", both of which are off of her upcoming album.

With "Soft Target" Rosalie James pens an ode to all the women over the years who have been misdiagnosed with wrong mental health issues. Specifically, the song talks about her own misdiagnosis, she confides, "this song is for the generations of women who weren't diagnosed as neurodivergent until adulthood because they just seemed A Lot. It's for the 'over-sensitive drama queens,' who attracted people that liked us a little crazy and vulnerable but had nothing to give us. I'm still awkward and difficult and scared of balloons. I lost a career and I'm full of chemicals. But I'm not alone. We're not alone."  Sonically, "Soft Target", is a thrilling musical blend complete with an incredibly infectious hook. Layered electric guitars, driving bass and spellbounding vocals are all highlighted in this charismatic and genuine musical offering. The accompanying music video shows the singer experimenting with a chemistry set that lands her to become a honeybee for a fun loving watch. The video portrays the theme of different sides to  our emotions.
Rosalie James effortlessly blends indie rock with bedroom pop, folk and Americana for a must listen to sonic whirlwind. The songwriter collaborated with producer and musician Daniel Knowles (Sharon Van Etten) for her album, and we can't wait to hear it!
