Six-piece alternative rock outfit Fizzy Orange share playful number “CHOO CHOO,” the final glimpse of their forthcoming debut EP Fizzy Orange in Mono. Brimming with an upbeat vintage energy, the nostalgia-laden production is propelled by lively drums and elegant keys that cushion rich yet carefree vocals.
Vibrant and charming as it pays homage to the past while also forging a path forward, the track is a bright pop-tinged anthem that balances out a classic boogie-woogie style with a refreshing signature.
Speaking of the track, the band says, “We first played this tune during a writing session in an attic in co. Leitrim last year. Kev (lead singer) had penned the lyrics about the experience of using our local train service in Dublin. The Dublin-Area-Rapid-Transit or the DART as it's better known. Always late, northbound or southbound, we all got his experience straight away.”
With a bold DIY approach that have seen them build a solid buzz both at home in Ireland and beyond, sets them up as a fiercely up-and-coming worth keeping on your radar.
