Cork-based producer 1000 Beasts shares sophomore album Burning Flower, a collaborative and expansive 10-track collection built on soulful yet sleek musicality. Featuring talents like Malaki, Paco Versailles, Rachel Mae Hannon, Toucan and more, the album pulls us in with its vast styling spanning indie, soul & electronic music.
From the warm and smooth instrumentation of groovy lead single “They Called Her Something,” with its addictive drum pattern to the honeyed vocal lines of featuring talent Tomike on hit offering “Cherry Delight,” the project is experimental and emotive in turns.
Speaking of the album, he says, “The Burning Flower album came together immediately after the release of Naruda. Honestly, I was so immersed in the crafting process of Naruda that I just kept making music without pause. It wasn't a conscious effort; one day, I turned around and realised I had another album's worth of material ready to go, and that's how I ended up here.”
Having emerged in 2017 and earned acclaim for his eclectic artistry, 1000 Beasts who has established himself as an artistic force continues to push boundaries with each release.
